have you taken the oath of allegiance in st john ambulance even though you don't believe in God?

even though you don't believe in God but it is part of the oath. how would you deal with this dilemma, would you leave or not take the oath and get booted out?

    What dilemma? If you don't believe in god then take the oath anyway. It shouldn't matter to you as it will only be words.

    Sort of like in court, when they made me swear on the bible before I testified. Is an agnostic really going to fear the warth of a God he doubts exists? I think I should have taken a different oath.

    Never take an oath of allegiance to something you don't believe in.

    If you do not believe in God then it does not matter what you say or do. So no problem I guess.
