It would do the job - just.

You would do better getting a system with the Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor which is better technology. With 64bit system I would double the ram and get faster clock speed which size for size is only marginally more expensive. Graphics card is adequate. The spec doesn't specify which motherboard or ram. If for instance the M/B supports faster ram you can go from 1333 and for a few coppers more you can get 1600 or 1866.

A poor motherboard and ram is like trying to empty a bath through a pinhole rather than a big plughole

I suggest you go to a system builder, tell him your budget and what you do and get something much better for the same price. £680 seems a lot for mediocrity and an AMD phenom 2 x 4 would give you better performance for the same price processor. Unless you go for the i7, Intel prices are not really that competitive for the similarity in performance. I suggest check relative performance at:

A Geforce G405 video card able to run WoW on high settings ? Probably lowest settings with tons of lag with lots of character on screen.

goto notebookcheck.net and look at the GPU chart. grab a class 1 or 2 card.

Yes it will run WoW on max settings, the same goes for newer games such as Crysis 2 and Just Cause 2.
