Real social time where we didn't have contact 24 hrs a day, but just saw each other at school, at movies, class gatherings and at the malt shops for face to face conversations. We would hang out together for fun or at work. Dates meant more. They were not interrupted by a text or phone call.

Penal servitude, transportation and the occasional hanging were quite effective when I was a lad.

But then the law went namby-pambily soft - and even a Head Schoolteacher risks getting seriously harmed, trying to impose any discipline - never mind 'respect'.

properly, shall we call it "previous Age Pensioners" like they do interior the united kingdom, yet i don't think of that could bypass over properly. perhaps "Over age 50 or fifty 5". And the toddlers section ought to be called "severe college Seniors" or "severe Schoolers". i've got oftentimes concept Y!A could have age categories. to illustrate: 12 - 14 Junior severe 14 - 18 severe college 18 - 30 youthful adults 30 - 40 Adults 40 - 50 Adults 50 - 60 Adults 60+ Adults yet i assume Y!A would not desire to have such numerous categories.

I agree with your grandfather. Also, parents that are more involved. Mothers that are home when the kids are home. Not sitting in front of the TV or computer. Kids need boundaries, and these days, they have fewer boundaries set by parents.
