Have Any Awesome Album Suggestions?

At the moment I'm trying to expand my musical taste just a little bit (to help with guitar, and for fun), and I thought it'd be great to listen to a ton of different albums. I'm really digging the first two Grateful Dead albums, and also early Napalm Death =)

As you can see from those examples, I like pretty different music, so feel free to recommend anything you like - it can be rap, hip-hop, jazz, classic, modern, metal, rock, alternative, progressive, any sub genre, whatever. I would like something with good guitar work, but anything is cool. Thanks! =)

You would likely appreciate Jackson Browne - Running on empty

Damn near anything by Van Halen prior to 2004 (I may have the end date wrong, but if you're into exquisite guitar work, I doubt that you can beat much of that.)

Santana - Supernatural ( but he has only about 30 other albums if you find this one to rock your soul)

some of the Beatles stuff is really good

The Eagles have some really good stuff

    Obviously Eric Clapton rocks

And you've got Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham or a lady I love Stevy Nicks

And to finish of this list, if you truly want a guitar shredder, A lady I love even more - Nancy Wilson of Heart.

I rather doubt that you can assemble all that this group has done, and if you do you will rock the planet without a doubt. I hope that you can be considered the the top guitar shredder of the last fifty years, but you've set a tough task for your self. good luck to you and I look forward to the person that can smoke this list. rock on..,................................................................
