I have a computer virus?

I wasn't on any new websites, nothing pornographic or anything considered high risk. All of a sudden I have this Animal doctor thing and apparently it is a virus.

I am not very good with computers and have no idea how to remove the virus. I cant afford any anti virus and just avoid high risk sites, apparently there are ways to remove these things but i have no idea how.

Any help on how to get rid of this virus would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

DO ALL OF THIS ON A DIFFERENT COMPUTER:

Download Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware (Search google) then put them on a CD R or a flash memory disk.

    NOW ON THE INFECTED MACHINE:

Turn it OFF, then turn it on and start hitting the F8 key FAST. If it comes up with a screen that has several selections that DO NOT include "Safe mode," select the one that is HDD 0, or whichever one is the main hard drive(may say SATA, SCSI, IDE, or something else, just pick 0 or 1, whichever is the first in numerical order, and start mashing the F8 key again, and choose "Safe Mode with Networking" from the list.

When you get into windows, log in as yourself, or whichever account got the virus first, then install both of the programs (all default settings) and open them both at the same time. then run a FULL or DEEP scan in BOTH AT THE SAME TIME (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT)

This will take 1-4 hours depending on how many files you have.

When both are done, go to Malwarebytes FIRST, click OK on the dialog box, then Show Results, then right click in the list of red words and select "CHECK ALL ITEMS," then Remove Selected. Answer NO to the reboot request.

Then go to SUPERAntiSpyware, click OK on the dialog, make sure all the items are checked, click next, then answer YES to the reboot. When your computer is done rebooting, you should be clean.

Source(s): I have done this at least 20 times a day for the last 5 years, not always with these 2 programs, but these are what I use now.
