Why did my Google Search bar disappear?

My Google Search Box has disappeared... replaced by a shadowed bar across the screen in it's place. All settings show it is "enabled" but it is no longer displayed. Any help appreciated!

Disable it,, and than re-enable ;)...
check if its checked in toolbar
