Can i play sport after meniscus surgery and complete acl tear?
I had a hard injury before a year and before 1 months i went to surgery which i had a complete acl tear and a meniscus bucket handle, but the doctor said that he didnt recommend doing an acl reconstruction, as my quadriceps well do as an acl, and said that i can play sport when i strengthen my quadriceps, how ever i am scared playing again and hurting my knee, plus i love sports! so can i play?

If the Dr said you can play sports, don't limit yourself. Start out slow, and keep those knee muscles strong.

I would say absolutley not. Especially if there is still some swelling. I tore my ACL, MCL and meniscus before and theres no way you should consider sports for atleast a year after rehabbing. And being as you're a woman, your ligaments are on a different angle then a man, and you are more likely to tear your other knee as well. I wouldnt start to sprint at all until you have an ACL brace and the swelling is gone all the way down.

If i were you i would get a second opinon on getting Acl surgery because it takes a very very very long time to strengthen ur knee after u tear it trust me i know 8 months ago i tore myin and got high lowed and tore myin. if you just strengthing ur quadriceps it takes like a year and a half to get back maybe and you will buckle your knee all the time and will do even more damamge i got surgery 7 months ago and im returning to football next week with my brace ready to go full force i mean i thing 7 months is alot better then a year and a half

Have you strengthened your quadriceps? If so and your doctor has cleared you then start slow.
If you plan on returning to sports it may make sense to also go to physio before starting.

of course you can you just have to build up all the muscles around your knee to keep it strong dont rush back and make sure u do rehab but before returning make sure u work on footwork more than anything
