Caius or Kaius,we cant agree!! Help please?

Question

So hubby & I have never agreed on a boys name & have finally found one we both love but are really disagreeing on the spelling. He likes it with the K & I like it with the C.Im not sure how to solve this,il probably have to give in as he's given me free reign with the middle names.
Do you really think its that big a deal which way its spelt?So his name will be.
Kaius John Thomas Hewett
 (John was my late grandad's name(he was like a father to me) & Thomas was my late nan's maiden name so theyr staying no matter what)

Kaius, then he could go by Kai
I don't really like Caius because it kind of reminds me of Calus...(thing on fingers+feet?you know?)
I like the name, but much more as Kaius
I think the nickname Kai is adorable!

I like Caius (the spelling, not so much the name. It sounds medievalish to me). I find K's look tacky in place of a C.
