Bicycle inner tube size question?

I have a Schwinn Cross Point hybird bike. The inner tubes will need to be replaced.

the tire size is 700x38c, what is the tube size i will need to buy? (presta valve)

I don't know much about bicycles, it is difficult to figure out what those number means for the tube.

any help would be nice! Thank you.

Just tell the bike shop you need a presta valve 700 x 38c tube. They will pull out a presta 700 x 28 - 40c tube. Tubes expand within the tire. So tubes are designed to fit mulitlple widths.

you would need a tube close to 700X38 700c is the rim sizein cm and 38mm is the width of the tire

you can put smaller tubes in but leaves you prone to flats buy a 700x38
