need help with song form...lee konitz song?
Hi guys,
For jazz I have to do a presentatino on a jazz artist, and I chose Lee Konitz. I have to show my jazz band a song, and with that the song form. I'm just having a lot of trouble with this. It all seems like solo, just switching to different soloers...It's called "Subconcious-Lee" by Lee Konitz, you can listen to it by going to pandora radio and typing in Lee Konitz or Subconcious-Lee
I'd really appreciate any help with this..
Thank you guys!

The record in question is on Original Jazz Classics OJC 186 rec 1/49 - 4/50, featuring the following musicians :-
Konitz, Marsh,(ts), Sal Mosca, Tristano, (pno), Bauer, (gtr), Fishkind (b), Manne, Morton, (dms).
"Subconscious - Lee" brings together material made under Lennie Tristno's leadership in January '49
with quartet and quintet tracks made a few months later featuring Wayne Marsh on the anything but redundant "Tautology" and four other numbers, there is a fine duo with the guitarist on " Rebecca ".
I was at the time a regular enthusiast of the West Coast jazz scene so collected many of the records especially those made by Shelly Manne.
