Who else is disappointed in yahoo answers?

The only thing I am disappointed in is the lack of service to this website. This website has had glitches for years (literally). Also the issue of trolls has never been a priority for the site managers. So really that is my only gripe with this site.

However, I can understand your frustration. I blame that on ignorance and immaturity. I have asked serious questions and there were times when I would get less than helpful answers or no answers at all. I usually attribute that to users that answer just for the points, or just for the heck of it. I think in part you are right. Many people in our society today, lack the ability to carry on intelligent conversation because their heads are in the clouds, or they seriously lack the motivation to actually increase their knowledge. We live in a society where people are so engrossed in entertainment that serious issues don't matter anymore. As a result, we breed a generation of people who are not able to conversate in an intelligent fashion which leads to more ignorance. As it relates to this site, I think it has to do with the fact that users simply do not care about what the asker is asking, but they care more about points, and not about helping others. That is the real purpose of this site, to help those that are in need when it comes to asking questions and finding answers. As far as a solution? I haven't found one, because you cannot make users answer your questions. My suggestion is to keep trying, or you can simply leave to find a better Q/A site.

I think the important answers aren't being answered because people are quite simply too lazy to answer them because they consume more time to answer them apposed to simple questions!

I don't think there is a way to address this issue unfortunately.

If I wanted to be concerned with important things, I wouldn't be wasting time on Yahoo Answers!

to address this they need to fix the glitches

I think it's because as time goes by people are only worrying about themselves and what they have going on, people just don't care anymore.
