Some wouldn't say it's metal, but Appetite For Destruction - Guns N' Roses is often called rock/metal, one of the best albums of all time.

"Sabotage" by Black Sabbath. I love lots of Sabbath's stuff, in addition to albums by other bands (Maiden, Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth, Motorhead, and others), but to me there's no topping that one.
