Do I need to get my driver's license?
Basically, I'm eighteen years old and see no use in getting my driver's license. I have no interest in driving either. I pay my parents, friends, etc. for rides. I'll be starting college in the fall and my parents will drive me since we live close to the campus. I will give them money like I said before. I plan on moving to Atlanta. I can use public transport, etc. Even though I have no use for a license, do I need to get one?

No. But you will need a state I.D. card. But here is a thought, things change. I had a drivers license even though I didn't have a car for years, and even re-newed it and still wasn't driving. When it did come time to buy a car, my insurance was lower because records (DL) showed I'd been driving for years without any points on my license!
As I said things change and things happen. With that in mind I think you should learn to drive and get a drivers license, not having any interest isn't really too valid. What if there is an emergency and you NEED to drive? What if you are the only person around and NEED to take charge, driving? Having your drivers license does make you more independent and you don't have to rely on other people. I'll bet you a dime if you ask your parents and friends if you should learn to drive and get a license they would say yes. I encourage anyone to become as independent as they can be because often times you can only rely on yourself, not others.

You don't have to get a driver;s license per say, but you will have to have some form of I.D. You can obtain that from your DMV. as a State issued I.D. card,
