    9y"'+3y"-5y'+1=42(e)power x + 64(e)power x/3

    9y"'+3y"-5y'+1= Ae^x + B e^x/3

    y' = A e^x + (1/3) B e^(x/3)

    y'' = A e^x + (1/9) B e^(x/3)

    y''' = A e^x + (1/27) B e^(x/3)

    9[A e^x + (1/27) B e^(x/3)] + 3 [ A e^x + (1/9) B e^(x/3)] -5 [A e^x + (1/3) B e^(x/3)] +1 = 42e^x + 64 e^x/3

    Compare coefficients of e^x

    9A+3A-5A=42

    7A=42

    A=6

    compare coefficients of e^(x/3)

    9B/27+3B/9-5B/3 = 64

    (9+9-45)B/27=64

    -B=64

    B=-64

    A=6; B=-64

    Yp(x) = 6e^x-64e^(x/3)

    is the particular solution.
