Why do private sector labor unions like the UAW, Teamsters and UMW exclude blacks from leadership positions?

Because unions are so full of morons, only the 0.0001% of UAW members that even know how to read are able to rise up the ranks and negotiate effectively with Harvard and Princeton -educated CEO and other executives at the Corporate Level.

Can you imagine a black person being able to negotiate contracts with the big-guns at GM, GE, Boeing, or Caterpillar? They would ruin their own union.

Somehow I have a feeling that if the subject was leadership of the Republican Party, you would insist that the leadership positions were decided on the basis of merit only, and race had nothing to do with it. Am I wrong about that, in which case you must accept that the Republican Party excludes blacks from leadership positions except for a couple for window dressing, or are you being hypocritical?

Why has a black man only just entered office as President of America, a mere two years ago? To this day, discrimination is a global epidemic that is blind to all legislation of equality, and where women, social and ethnic minorities holding important positions is an unusual occurrence. This isn't some sort of left-wing conspiracy, nor is it a conservative one - it is blind of any ideology anymore, and it is up to the people to do something to tackle discrimination.

That isn't true, show some documentation to support this theory. The only place this might have some merit is in the south where they are anti-union or in certain areas were there are fewer Black families living.
