If I write a check at Giant Eagle tonight, would it clear my account before my direct deposit tomorrow night?
Tight on cash this week...trying to get by til my paycheck is direct deposited on Thursday night. But I have to buy gas and a few things for the house and deposit $5 in cash to my other account today.
How about at Marc's? Can I overwrite for cash at Marc's? and How quick will it hit there?

The problem is even after your paycheck is deposited, the funds may not be available to use for a few days. Talk to your bank and find out when it is okay to use the money. You may have to wait til Monday to write a check.

Giant Eagle will process your check immediately, just like a debit card
Do you have any pawn shops in your area?
Do you have anything of value?
They will require your ID and some will fingerprint you.
They like items such as music equipment, gold, tv's, etc.
You can get a short term loan, or get cash for the item
