Does ADD sometime make things hard to comprehend,but do u fake understanding& thus give a false impression?

Update:

Actually Tunji, I'm trying to gain insight on the condition, having lived with an *odd* person for many years and having just discovered that ADD might be the reason.

I wonder, does ADD make you misread peoples intent?

    Not so much hard to comprehend, but because of the add I'm unable to focus on everything a person is saying, thus I miss things and sometimes I have to fake that I know what they are talking about.
