My traxxas slash doesn't drive ?
I got it 2 days ago for my birthday but it was used so I'm not sure how old it was anyway I have been driving it regularly and the only thing of note was i tightened the slipper clutch good and went over a jump but didn't see the mud puddle behind it so my slash got dirty and wet but apparently it's waterproof so I didn't think anything of it I cleaned it though and I drove it today worked fine then it suddenly died and the steering works fine but it won't move an inch I was running A 5100 mah 8.4 volt battery and when I touched the motor it was extremely hot so I let it cool down and tried again lifting the wheels up and it spun for a second or two so I let go tried again ,nothing what happened also it won't go backwards even if I push it only forward O_O

Must likely what happen is that the mod while the engine was moving some how short circuit the contacts of the motor! I also would be checking also the temperature of the ESC. so you can find out if the Electronic speed controller is trying to move the motor but the short is building resistance, I honestly don't know what kind of motor you have but there is also the possibility that mud and dirt shorted the magnetic coils inside of the motor!
Now Motors are not really to expensive! I have at least three or four on a large box around. So if that is your problem, you don't really have a hard to fix problem.
