Are there any Chinese proverbs regarding serenity, tranquility, a calm mind, etc?
I have some anger issues :( and I'm interested in beautiful Chinese symbols I can glance at and, knowing their meaning, have them visually induce tranquility.
You can just post the English translation if you know a proverb and I can find the symbols in a translator.
I'd appreciate the ommission of links unless they are to tranquility proverbs specifically. I am capable of internet searching myself (and am doing so separately) and have come here seeking your expertise! Thank you. :)

There is one that goes 忍一時風平浪靜 退一步海闊天空
A literal translation for this is "Endure for a moment's impulse, the winds shall remain calm and the waves silent. Take a step back, you'll see a wide open sea and the vastness of the sky."
For the first sentence, what it tells you is that all we need is to practice tolerance and endurance, and nothing will go out of control (when you're angry, everything seems to go wrong). The second sentence is pretty simple; sometimes we just need to yield for a single step, and we'll be able to see the bigger or a clearer picture. Looking at a landscape picture only several inches away from the canvas you'll only be seeing a blur of strange colours. Why not take a step back, and you'll see the picture in greater detail. "Yielding" may also include simply forgiving somebody for their faults, and you'll never feel constrained.
If the above proverb is too long, you may consider 小不忍則亂大謀
This one is less detailed than the first, but what it means is "impatience in small matters can jeopardize your intentions".
I guess this is easier to understand as it's pretty concise.
If you like, you may even opt for a two word phrase, 安靜
This is a word that means "quiet, peaceful, tranquility, calm or silence". Personally, I think a short phrase like this that looks visually relaxing may be a better choice than long proverbs, since you don't actually read them.
By the way, never trust online automatic translations. They can never translate proverbs into a proper sentence that makes sense.

Serenity; tranquility: 宁静,平静
To be calm; unhurried: 从容不迫
Think thrice before acting/ don't be impulsive: 三思而行
Clear & refreshing autumn weather: 秋高气爽 (no relation, actually, but it's a lovely expression)
Try to solve a dispute through negotiations before using stronger measures: 先礼后兵
Happy and content: 怡然自得
Some of them may not have much of a relation but I hope they inspire you. If you want others you can ask me, and I'll try to assist.
Cheers. :))
