Should i do it or not?
ok so im in grade 10 now and in two years ill be outta high school
so i was thinking about going to university in a far off city and living on campus so i could move out and go away from my parents
my parents are really abusive sometimes..like my mom gets all physical and **** and the use sabusive words..so i thought moving out would be the best option for me..it does cost a lot and its really distracting and noisy in the dorms but this seems like the only way and they also say that u feel way more engaged when u live on campus
so, what do u guys think? should i live on campus or not and could someone tell me what campus life is really like?do u actually feel more involved?
can i have all possible details on campus life..thanks
and i was looking at carleton university in ottawa
well, they are like over protective and really controlling so i though moving out would let me have my independance and make them understand that i could make my own decisions as a grown up now
and i thought i could return after the 4years and live with them cuz i'd be 21 and things might get more settled between us

Well I'm also in high school, I'm only an annoying little freshman though, and I personally think that if you're getting physically abused then why the heck are you still home?! You should move out asap. University is something that you should be thinking about already, so if I were you I'd find a University thats good for you and live on that campus. If your parents ever try to visit, say you have too much homework or you have a big test the day and NEED to study(:

well i couldnt be able to tell you what its like living on campus because i am in high school as well. but if i were in your situation i myself would wanna get as far away from home as i could. who knows, maybe in two years the situation with your parents might change and things wont be this way with them anymore. in that case, your whole plan on moving away might change. you never know. you still have two more years to go. thats a long time :)

I think about ur parents at this age it is normal to have fights and arguments i think all of us have that, so my suggestion do not be mad of them for that,i passed the same situation before at this age ai hated them i feel like it was hell for me but i didnot leave the house. and now i feel that they were right that time and i was wrong. So i think you have to belive in your parents more and you will have a happy life. about life in campus i didnot experience it much. but in every thing there +&- depends on how u will live your life there.
