which is better babylon 5 or deep space nine?

have seen both and like them both but which do you think is better

    Babylon 5 had a great long term build up with the Shadows vs Vorlons story. It kind of went south after that, but it was still better than Deep Space 9, which was several recycled Star Trek stories mashed into a series.

    I prefer Babylon 5. It was more self-contained, had better pacing, and many of the political issues and stories are still relevant today.
