Can you store ice cubes in a cooler?

I know that they are placed in a cooler to cool down other drinks or items, but can they be kept in a cooler without melting? (My knowledge on coolers is very limited).

I have a freezer which is usually packed with freezer foods, so there leaves very little space for ice cubes which I want to store. So if a cooler cannot store ice cubes, is there a cheaper alternative below £100?

Thank you.

It depends how big the computer is, if it is a big cooler it will hold ice for a week before there is nothing but water, a smaller cooler will last for only one day

Then again I leave my cooler in the sun, that might be an important variable

No they will melt only thing you could try is store them in cold water then put water in cooler

get a small ice box freezer or small refrigerator with an ice box --below 100 at wal-mart or you might be able to find one on Craig's list)
