What is wrong with my audio?
OK I have a Tascam US-144 audio interface. I have speakers that i connect through the interface and then the interface is connected to my laptop through a usb port. When I listen to music through my speakers or any audio output that i connect to my interface the song will randomly freeze and then keep going. It is really annoying when trying to record. My speakers work fine wen connected to other equipment and the speakers in my laptop work fine as well. I tried different usb ports and got the same result. I have no idea what the problem is. What is wrong with my audio and how can I fix this???
I went into task manager as Cirric suggested but its already at high priority. There is realtime priority but when I did a search on Google about the definition of that it says to never choose it because my computer might crash. I have an AMD processor do I need a better one for music production?

Hi. Usually a dropout like that is due to the CPU or other device. You can go into the "Task Manager" and try a higher priority on the audio.
