I had a dream that my dad tried to rape me...?

My father and I have a very bad relationship. So much has gone on that we barely speak to each other and we are forced to go to therapy together.

I had a dream last night that he came to my school and took me out of one of my classes. He was forcing me down the hallway, almost dragging me. Then, he just tried to rape me right then and there.

In that dream, I woke up. It was a dream in a dream. Does that make sense?

In my dream, I told my friend that I just had a dream that my dad tried to rape me.

What does this dream in a dream mean?

This does not necessarily mean what is portrayed but it could be your brain trying to tell you something about your father (not about what is in the dream) but perhaps you went to sleep and without even realizing it your brain went on to thinking about crime or betrayal.

It doesn't even have to be stuff you think about on a day to day basis it just has to be something that you know and your brain can create whole scenarios that would accurately describe as a big crime or betrayal

Crime as it is possibly the worst crime in your mind and so that's why your brain chose rape and your father is just someone you think about a lot.

Betrayal could also be something your brain was thinking about as it is a large crime and the one thing you don't expect is for your dad to commit the crime on you.

Don't worry about it. If you have the dream recurring then it is possible you may need to speak to your father about it but if not then it is just your brain creating a strange scenario out off nothingness. you dream about 6 or 7 times a night and they don't all mean exactly what they are as you don't remember then half the time. you even dream when you are awake. (day dreaming) and they don't mean a thing as you can Control what scenarios your brain creates for you.

Rape in a dream means someone is violating you in some way. Maybe the way he use to treat u making u do things against your will like making you quit something you were really into or breaking up with a boyfriend u know something u had no control over.

You and your father is not in good terms. You are afraid of him.So you are imagining that he may rape you.You feel insecure. You may better speak to your mother or shift residence to some elderly relation or hostel.

Your mind is not sound . You have no fraternal approach and intimacy in parentaral point of view. your desperation appeared in the form of such subconscious manipulations. it is just to be viewed leniently.

Damn that's gnarly. It usually means you have been thinking about that or you might have just saw something or heard of something like that. It doesn't always mean something bad is gonna happen

INCEPTION. but seriously, thr rape part could be a reflection on how you think your relationship is with him
