1000 cm^3 of 1 decimolar NaOH contains 0.1 mole NaOH ;
150 cm^3 of 1 decimolar NaOH contains (0.1) X (150/1000) mole or 0.015 mole NaOH ;
Now, the new diluted solution contains 0.015 mole NaOH.
750 cm^3 solution contains 0.015 mole NaOH ;
1000 cm^3 solution contains (1000/750) X 0.015 mole or 0.02 mole NaOH .
Molarity of newly prepared solution = 0.02 M (or 0.2 decimolar) .

I'm assuming decimolar means 1/10 molar solution, in which case you would be multiplying the volume by 5 and decreasing the molarity by a factor of 5 as well, making it 1/50 molar, or 2 centimolar if that floats your boat.

Molarity is basically basically the moles of the solute (in spite of you're dissolving) divided by the liters of the finished answer. to stumble on the moles of the sodium acetate, you basically divide the grams by the molar mass. 4.00g of sodium acetate divided by 80 two.0 g of sodium acetate in one mole delivers approximately 0.0488 moles of sodium acetate. Now, substitute the mL to L (by using fact that's how that's interior the equation) and 750 mL = 0.seventy 5 L. finally, carry on with the 1st equation i gave, which became into moles divided by liters and you get.... 0.0488 moles / 0.seventy 5 L = 0.0.5-molar answer
