Why does the Tea party show favoritism to Republicans. Their not speaking out against Mitt Romney.?
I don't mean like in Elections, I mean at their campaigns, at their rallies. The other day the Tea Party leader from the Mid West was on TV Talking about how dissappointed the Tea partiers were with the New House Voting to continue Tax Subsidies going to Big oil. He said the tea party was upset that the houes has voted to continue funding Ethanol subsidies. He said He personally was not happy that Mitt Romney Passed Healthcare In Mass... Yet the Tea party will not say anything about that, they just want to keep directing the anger at Obama. Until Recently I had truly thought the tea party was a Non partisan Right leaning organization. But It seems that if Republicans are not doing right, and they wont speak out against them, their true motivation is just to oppose Barack Obama. It's not even about Democrats and Republicans. It's just about Defeating Democrats. You can't be against something, but let it slide because your friend is doing it. Their showing favoritism to Republicans.. All that means for the United States, is that if Another Republican win's in 2012.. And things get bad again, like they did in Bushes second term.. The Country will just go to hell again in flames and the Republicans / Tea party will support them no matter what.. Take Mitt Romeny for example. He is a Liberal Republican.. Atleast Obama stands behind his Legislation. Do you think anyone would vote for Obama if came out and said he was wrong about the war? If he was wrong about taking Bin Laden out? Who in their right mind would vote for him? Yet the Tea party will vote for Romney, a man who runs from his own record. Sad
I mean it's pretty clear, the Tea party just wants to turn the country into a right wing country. That's it.

I have memories of Nancy calling us Astro Turf and Nazis, now we are a major entity that greatly upsets mainly the left and definitely some from the Republican party.
Each Tea party group is independent of the next one. What one says may not be what the other group would agree to. There were two TP candidates for our GOP senate primary, and both lost because we did not have unity... so a greater effort to agree is being mustered.
There is a major push back from the old time Republican party. If the GOP doesn't capitulate to at least some reason, there could be an actual political party in 2016, The Tea Party. They have been making promises for years, but did not follow through. I no longer have to hold my nose and vote a straight R, I have a choice with the tea party candidate. I know full well once a candidate makes it to the seat, he is on his own and must do the job the way he sees fit, he must vote his own views.
The Tea Party correlates directly to a massive pent up frustration the Conservative masses have had for decades with the GOP demigods that have imposed their fossil approved choices upon the Conservative people. This is very serious, and they best stop resisting the good change we bring. There is nothing wrong with living within our means.
The Tea Party is for limited government and for fiscal responsibility, there is no difference with both you and me living within our means. Pretty basic logic that does pull in people from both parties. The Tea Party has every intention to stop the ridiculous run away spending brought about by both parties.
May I point out Dick Lugar (R) hates the Tea Party. For the first time in all these decades, he faces the greatest threat ever to his kingdom of perpetual reelection. When he took office 35 years ago, the debt was less then one trillion.... Now look at it.
The Tea Party by nature is bi-partisan. The reason why it gets so strongly associated with the Republican Party is because fiscal Conservatism is far more prevalent there then in the democratic party.

The tea party is a mix of libertarians, republicans, independents, and even democrats.
The problem right now is caused by a Progressive sitting in the white-house right now named Barack Obama.
Barack Obama is destroying the economy and jobs right before your eyes.
You are blaming the tea party when they don’t even have hardly any power whatsoever in the House, senate, and the White House.
You have been lied to. Blame the people that are actually in charge ruining the country right now in plain site.
You sound like a reasonable person. Maybe you should look into attending a tea party event.
There is a lot of people in the tea party that are speaking out against Mitt Romney and even saying "anyone but Mitt Romney".
However why would anyone in their right mind want Barack Obama destroying the economy, destroying job growth, and wasting trillions to pay-off his cronies for another 4 years?

I'm an independent so i'll pretty much listen to anyone. I am very open minded and flexible. With that out of the way i'll begin...
I have observed the tea party from the very beginning as well as Bush. And i was generally interested in what they had to say because i wanted to know where they were coming from. But after awhile Bush was no mystery at all. And neither is the Tea party. If you observe them as i did. The striking thing about them is how much they contradict themselves.
These people are not what they claim to be. They are some kind of radical front which resembles a terrorist organization underneath the hood. Fully equipped with splinter cells which operate independently to use coordinated smear tactics attempting to rile up the most angry fanatic among us. They are not regular citizens but a movement with a sick agenda designed under the phony cover of freedom from persecution.
Whatever persecution they are afraid of does not exist in our reality. This is America not Iran... And these people are dangerous. Primarily to the president of the united states, who has done nothing to offend these people except be a person of mixed origin.

The Tea Party is destined to become an amusing footnote in history books. They represent the lunatic side of the Republican Party. If they grow in influence, the Republican Party will sink like the Titanic. They will torpedo any moderate Republican candidates for the Presidency in 2012, which will make it impossible for the party to win. Hopefully the Republicans will reject Tea Party views and come back to planet Earth. America will be better off if both the Republican and Democratic parties are sensible.

The Tea Party will cave in to Romney. They will have no other choice unless they want to push Ron Paul, but it seems unlikely. Gingrich has too much bad history and Perry did not do well in the debates like we defend Israel because of what the Bible says. That gets the Arab fighting mad when we are trying to pull our troops the hell out of there.

"Its pretty clear" that you know nothing of the Tea Party.
There are just as many ex-Democrats/Republicans who are Independent due to people not satisfiied with the way the government is ruining things. FYI- Most Tea Partiers are more conservative thinkers than Liberal Republican/Liberal Democrat. (There is a difference between conservatives and Republicans.) Tho most Obama Fawning News Sycophants try to say otherwise.

Isn't it obvious why the tea party likes the Republicans more? The republicans support more tea party positions than the democrats do.

Perhaps if you understood the current democratic party has a extreme progressive outlook with huge government and excessive taxations as their core beliefs. You would under stand the the T.E.A Party which stands for Taxed Enough Already is against huge government and excessive taxation. BUT since you let others think for you, that is why you are confused.
