Will republicans ever just admit they created a worldwide economic disaster?

It's ok to admit you made a big mistake...alan greenspan admitted it before congress.

Between Jan 20, 2001-2009...under Bush's policies of deregulation, lax regulation enforcement, corporate welfare and a 15% tax rate on stock profits for wealthy people:

Gasoline tripled from 1.44 to 4.11 per gallon (peaked July 2008)

Unemployment skyrocketed 80% from 4.2% to 7.6%

Dow Jones plunged 25% from 10,587 to 7,949

Budget went from a 236 billion surplus to a 1.3 TRILLION deficit (a 1.5 trillion drop)

National debt doubled from 5.7 trillion to 10.6 trillion (a 4.9 trillion increase)

Borrowed a trillion dollars for two fake wars (all hijackers were from saudi arabia)

Borrowed a trillion dollars for Medicare part D which outlawed govt bulk discounts

Borrowed 2.5 trillion for tax cuts for mostly wealthy people

Trillions of Federal reserve dollars spent to prop up wall street and assume risky loans

Economy losing 700,000 jobs monthly - unemployment growing 1% every 6 weeks

Economy in total freefall

This is called "common sense conservative limited government"

(feel free to re-post these facts and PROTECT AMERICA FROM REPUBLICANS)

The Republicans believe that you don't fail until you admit failure. Bush stumbled into Iraq and within a few weeks it was clear we had no hope of 'winning' there. Bush didn't say 'Well, it sounded like a good idea at the time,' instead he insisted, for the next six years, that we were winning, that total victory was just around the corner. He even -declared- victory once, and I don't believe he ever admitted afterwards that this declaration was premature.

For decades now the Republicans have tried to rule through propaganda. The strategy they're trying with Obama is one that worked before, with Jimmy Carter. Carter INHERITED inflation, interest rates and unemployment all in double digits, the failure of TWO previous Republican administrations. But the Republicans have managed to convince Americans that Carter was responsible for these conditions, simply by repeating it over and over. That worked so well that the GOP built a media empire--Fox News and right-wing talk radio--to repeat their version of the story over and over. People who get all their news from these sources are so badly informed that they often aren't even aware there's another side of the story.

It worked with Carter, but it doesn't seem to be working with Obama.

Not sure hard core republicans would see fault in their thinking. This is because they tend to be simple folk, with simple ideas on how the world works. They love the "Ah Shucks" politics of Sarah Palin and hero worship past leaders like Ronald Reagan who at best was brain dead. They hanker after a past that never was and will never accept change because of that. One day there will be a new generation of Republicans which will attempt to adapt to the real world. When that happens you can bet your house it will only be a front as their true masters will always steer them back with rabid, frothing at the mouth catch phrases and hyperbole.

IMO lets make a comparison I tend to think (D) lean to a socialistic standard with their views on wealthfare taxing the rich how to run your buisness etc. NOw lets take a look at how some socialistic countries have done, we have USSR now thats what you call a depresion Vietnam guess they desearve a little credit, so how can u blame the depression on (r) when history has set a precendent that socialism doesnt work?

Why would they? Democrats worked with outside influences to crash the system. It had little to do with Republicans, and nothing to do with Bush Policy, everything to do with Democrat pushed lending policy they forced on banks and destroying the Fuel and Energy Production of the US as well as those invested in the World Climate Scams dependent Cap and Trade dependent Carbon Exchange that Soros and OBAMA yes OBAMA funded through Soros Joyce Foundation.

"Conservatives" know their base is so ignorant that, if they repeat a lie enough times, some followers will actually believe it.

Admittedly, the Bush/Republican recession of 2007-2010, will go down in the history books as one of the worst ever!

THANK GOD Obama and the Dems are BEGINNING to turn things around! (though most experts agree it will take Dems about 11 more years to clean up ALL the Repub messes)

ALL economic indicators now point to the fact that we ARE turning the corner, thanks to Obama and the Dems.

Employers were LAYING OFF 750,000 people/month under BUSH!

    Under Obama and the Dems,

we now have an INCREASE of 83,000 jobs/month in May 2011 (bls.gov).

The stock market, DOWN 61% under BUSH,

has INCREASED 65% from its low, since OBAMA took over.

(I know; I know; "Conservatives" don't like "facts" or "education". Things can be scary when ya don't understand them).

"Conservatives" were PRAYING the country would fail, so they could whine "Obama did it" (that's pathetically UNpatriotic of "Conservatives", isn't it?).

PLEASE do whatever you can to keep the hateful, lying Republicans from weaseling their way back into power until Dems can complete the cleanup of all the Repub messes! (minimum 11 years)

I am another of many former Republicans, scared off by the irrational, uneducated, hate-filled, lying, fear-mongering, neoCon "loon-fringe", who have hijacked the G0P...

I'll consider that after you admit that stinkbomba made it four times worse with his miserably failing marxist-socialist agenda.

History proves that conservative policies work, Socialist policies fail. Your trying to blame republicans for all the liberals failures, sorry, it just doesn't add up.

I beg to differ with you

Republicans did NOT create Obama........Democrats did

You claim that the current President is so good for this country. Why is it that he has done nothing to solve the problem? What ever happened to the troops coming home? Did he not say that they would be home by now? The current President has made countless promises that he has failed to keep.
