Can i take the middle of my bedroom floor out?
I'm thinking about having a trampoline in a room downstairs but there wouldn't be enough space to jump, is it possible to make a reasonably large hole in an upstairs room that i could jump through and land on a trampoline?
How would i do it?
Is it legal?
(here's i diagram to further explain)
I'm not going for the smartest, i don't really use either of those two rooms and i can see me staying in this house for the rest of my life. Not asking for opinions thanks :)

To make a hole in an existing structure there will have to be modifications made to the framing. Basically putting beams to pick up the floor load that is the simple, but more costly part. The main issue I feel you're going to run into is safety and code issues. Anytime you modify a structure of a home you need to pull a building permit, and they are going to want to see building plans of the modification. If you install a 36" tall guard rail around the entire floor opening it should be allowed, although that will hinder your ability to jump through the hole. Possibly installing a gate in the guard rail with a small platform may help that issue but I find it hard to believe they would allow that to be built. I'm not sure how building officials will view an indoor trampoline, but in reality if it isn't a part of the structure they have no say about the trampoline.
Your best bet is to contact a local contractor and you local building office to see what can be done.

yes it is possible
But not practical
It will weaken the structure
It is unlikely to be passed by the local authority therefore illegal -
unless major structural work is carried out
put the tramp in the garden and get some fresh air
