Does Kessler deserve to fight the winner of the Super Six?
I think he deserves more than what Bute does.He had to leave the tournament because of injury and he did beat Carl Froch. Also many people think that if the Ward fight hadn't been in California then it would have been a different outcome!
Does anyone agree?
BQ- Does the Super 6 really determine who's the #1 fighter in the division?

If Froch beats Ward then Kessler definitely deserves to fight him as he's already beaten him once. I thought he had a contractual agreement that if he gave up the WBC when he pulled out (so Froch and Abraham could fight for it) then he'd get the first shot at the eventual winner. I thik he'd lose to either though.

While Kessler is still a very good fighter (as his dominating performance over a tough French opponent showed) and while I do feel that he deserves waaaaaaaaaaaay more than Bute (who's level fo competition doesn't come close to Kessler's), I'd say give him one more tuenup fight then put him in with the big names. I disagree with how Kessler's fight with Ward would have gone. ward had Kessler tied up in knots, so much so, Kessler had trouble getting off his punches and staying competitive. It was a bit of a mismatch (though to be fair, Ward's headbutts did not help much, either).
The super 6, while a great tournament, doesn't prove who is the best. The fight that will, above all else, prove who is the best, would be a fight between the number 1 and number 2 guys in the 168-pound division, which would crown a linear champion for only the second time. That fight of course, is Andre Ward vs. Lucian Bute, which I feel needs to happen.

Lucian Bute is a huge draw in Canada so he would be the winner of the super 6 first choice, that is if Bernard Hopkins does not get in the middle of it.
BQ- No , the winner of the super 6 will still need to fight undefeated Lucian Bute to prove they are the best in the division, once again, unless Hopkins choose to move down and fight Lucian Bute, then the Froch/ Ward winner will have to fight Hopkins instead if Hopkins beats Bute.
