how to restore Ipod to factory setting?
I want to give my Ipod away but first want to reset it back to its original setting including erasing the songs and apps purchased at the itune store.

1. Plug your iPod into your computer
2. Open iTunes
3. Click on your device (tab on the left hand side, about half way down)
4. Click on the restore button (under the summary tab)
5. Make sure your pictures and purchases have been transfered to your computer before the restore as restoring your ipod will delete them from the device:)

connect it to the pc with the usb wire
go onto i tunes and on the side bar it should have the i pod you have as its connected click onto it and you should see restore system or restore ipod something along those lines click on it and then you should restore you i pod
