Do you need help or need advice with makeup? (I can help)?

I've done this before and would like to help you all again! If you have any questions regarding with makeup, please ask below and I'll be glad to help :). It can be about products, recommendations, etc....I'll use my knowledge to help haha. Just come back within 20 min or so (depending how long your question is) and they'll be an answer :) Or you can just email me. Thanks!

Update:

Sam-Answered :)

Update 2:

Lovely-Eh I have thought about it but it's very time consuming and it's hard to get viewers :P. But to answer your first question about using Powder. Using powder over tinted moisturizer, or concealer is to basically set it to make it last longer. Powder can also be used to make you less oilier too...It's up to you whether you want to use powder over your tinted moisturizer or concealer but in my opinion, I think you should since it'll make your makeup last longer. :D

For your second question, I know what you mean! It's a bit difficult to get your makeup to stay. I think you would either have to get waterproof makeup like for eyeliner, mascara and foundation or don't wear any makeup at all :p. If you do decide to wear makeup, keep some products in your bag to touch up like eyeliner, mascara, and powder just in case. You'll never know ^.^ Honestly though, it's hard to keep makeup from melting in hot heat...You just have to touch up :( Sorry...

Update 3:

Shandra-There's many many ways to do a smokey eye to be honest with you. It just takes practice and you can use black, brown, etc :). Here's some steps for you for a smokey eye:

1.) Put eyeshadow primer on your lids up to under your brows so your eyeshadow stays on

2.) Take a black eyeshadow base or just a black eyeliner & smudge it on your lids

---You can take your fingers to blend it out. It doesn't have to be perfect.

3.) Take a skintone color eyeshadow or a light brown and apply it to your crease

---This will help make your eyeshadow look like a "gradient."

4.) Take a black eyeshadow (or silver, brown, etc) and apply it to the lids up to the crease

5.) Take a blending brush or crease brush and blend the crease so it looks "faded"

6.) Take a smudge brush and some of the eyeshadow you use on the lid to smudge to the lower lash line

7.) Line your top and lower waterline and lashline

8.) Curl lashes and apply mascara...or false lashes if you want

There! :) You should practice practic

Update 4:

Damian-Hmm...Here's something you might want to think about...When you use darker colors, it can make your eyes look smaller so beware! (It happened to me when I attended a weeding...Took pics and my eyes looked small :P). But to answer your question, how about a lilac purplish color or coral for the inner lids and navy or grey in the outer corner? Also, be careful in using too much shimmer or glittery eyeshadow, it might not show up in photos! Matte shadows(no shimmer/glitter) show up better. For mousse foundation, I really like the finish look with a stippling brush or a flat top brush! Both give a nice, flawless finish. I recommend Real Technique Stipple Brush(Ulta) or Sonia Kashuk Synthetic Flat Top Blusher Brush(Target). For your foundation, be careful if it has SPF or titanium dioxide in it because it can leave your face with a white cast in flash photography! Have fun :))

Update 5:

K I'm done for today. Noone else is asking anymore...Goodnight!

my school formal is in about a week and i'm not sure what eyeshadow to wear! i want it to be dark, but not too dark, and not a grey smoky eye (i want some colour)! i was thinking black in the crease and to accentuate, but i don't know what other colour to use then..

my dress is very light pink and quite feminine, my shoes are black, my purse is dark blue and black and i'm wearing gold jewellery. i'm pale with chocolate brown hair and hazel eyes.

also, what brush is best for mousse foundation? i don't like using hands. thanks!
