    this means that you have 5.2 moles of methyl alcohol by kg of water

    1 kg of water contains (molar weight of water is 18g) 1000/18=55.6 mole of water

    mole fraction = moles of methanol)/ summ of moles methanol+water)

    x= 5.2/(55.6+5.2)=0.0856=8.56%
