Yes, you have to make an appointment. However, at my MAC counter if you make a purchase $50 or more they give you a makeover. It varies at different malls, though. Good luck! :)

Yes, you should get an appointment if you want your entire makeup done, especially for a special occasion like prom. If you just go in, they might not have time and be busy with other customers. Plus waltzing in is more for makeup sampling. But be sure that they clean their makeup brushes before they do your makeup.

You can waltz in but the chances of getting an apt are slim to none. Call up first, because most people do make apts especially for prom. On any other given day you could though. I just had my makeup done there for prom and loved it....but you defiantly need that apt.

you have to call them to make an appointment first but mac does a great job they take time and time to make you look gorgeous and its true because i use to work their a year ago and their really good with prom any dances weddings and so on. they will tell you on the phone if its free or something .
