I think she's leaving of her own volition. If I worked for the Wikimedia Foundation I'd leave of my own volition, and I'd like to believe that everyone else is just like me. After all, it's just a matter of time before everyone else is, in fact, just like me, at which point I'll be just like everyone else. But even if that doesn't happen any time soon, it's hard to imagine anyone wanting to work for the Wikimedia Foundation if they have other viable options, like fertilizer manufacturing.
