Can I transfer my Verizon Blackberry Curve 9330 phone, AND number to Boost Mobile?
I have a Blackberry Curve 9330 with the Verizon network. My bill is $200 a month- ridiculous. I want to transfer my phone number, and phone onto the Boost Mobile service. Is this possible? Will I need to flash my phone, and if I do, what features will I lose?

You can transfer your Number, but not the Curve 9330.
To transfer the number, all you have to do is have Boost Mobile Port the number for you, during the sign up process. Or, you can go to a Best Buy, purchase the phone there and they will help you port the number ... they are very good at this.
As to the phone ... You will not be able to make your Blackberry Curve 9330 (or ANY other non-Boost phone) work on Boost Mobile's network. It does not matter if your Blackberry is GSM, CDMA or any other type of phone. It also will not matter whether your Blackberry was from the Sprint, AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile network.
The only phones that will work on Boost Mobile are phones specifically made for, programmed and sold on (and for) the site / network ... such as their Blackberry Curve 8530. They are programmed with specific, proprietary, different Enterprise-Level firmware. They do this intentionally, as it is the only way for a low-cost, prepaid network to survive.
If you could use any phone (or any other network's phone), many people would not buy Boost Mobile phones at all ... they'd buy used or unlocked phones elsewhere, then go sign up for Boost or Virgin, or some other prepaid network.
This is also the reason why phones are often "free" or so inexpensive on one of the major networks - because they are relying on a minimum Two-Year Contract ... which a prepaid company can not get from you.
DON'T FLASH your phone, it will be a total waste - at least as it is, you can still find a buyer for it on ebay, Amazon or craigslist and salvage some of it's value. Besides - with the money you'll be saving in Boost, you'll pay for your new phone (and that one) in a month or two.
NOTE: I was also paying somewhere near $200.00 per month before signing up for Boost. I LOVE the $50.00 Unlimited everything, with NO tricks. Wish I had done it ages ago.
