Which iPhone should I get?

4G is a much faster device and fully supports IOS 4 where as the 3GS is the iPhone equivalent of the iPod 3G.

And the clear up confusion. iPhone 3G is equivalent to iPod 2G but called 3G due to the network services it provided (3G Internet), Apple thought that it would look stupid to release an iphone 4G when the iPods were only up to 3G so called it the 3GS.

The 3GS is a good pick if you only want to use it as a phone, but if you want to run a reasonable game on it then the 4G is a better pick.

3gs is really still not that cheap because you still have to pay 100 per month for internet plus its like a 2 year contract so...iphone 4 breaks WAY too easily my friend dropped it with an otterbox 2ft high on a CARPETED floor and it broke...also its basically as good as the 3gs but the 3gs is stronger, louder, better....but wait until the 4s come out (this summer)...see how it is...but if you want one now google "unlocked 3gs" buy that without the contract and you wont have to pay 1200 dollars every year for two years

i have the 4G and love it. but there really is no difference an iphone is an iphone. the 4G just has more features. so look at the features of each of them and see which one you like better. if you dont need/want all the 4G features then i would deff. go for the 3GS since they went on sale

iPhone is awesome device. Go for it. It is both a communication and entertainment device. It has iPod.
