Why does everyone hate Communism now?

What do you mean NOW? We didn't really like them even during World War 2. The Nazis were annihilated mostly by the US and to a lesser extent, the British. What Russia did was let them come into their country, cut off their supply lines and let them freeze to death in the Russian winter, it wasn't their army. They did capture about half of Berlin and the US, British and I believe the French have the other half. Also remember the US was the ones that overran Hitlers command headquarters and forced him into suicide. z

The Russians annihalated the Nazis because of sheer numbers and the ability to much better cope with the freezing cold, snow and ice. Communism does not work however. To begin with people are brainwashed into believing we are all the same but then Dictators emerge and the will of the people will be curtailed with more and more restrictions in their life such as travel abroad. Look at Cuba !

You want to take a trip to the old Communist block to get the straight answer to your question.

My father-in-law became a political refugee from the Eastern block in 1946. Up until the fall of Communism he was on the execution list

Of the family he left behind;

His mother died in 1978 - he never saw her after '47.

His brother and sister were regularly incarcerated and tortured for information regarding his whereabouts. On one occasion his brother was arrested for questioning when his wife was six months pregnant - his daughter was 15 months old when he returned. He bore the body and mental scars of that episode to the day he died. His sister once spent 24 hours hanging by her wrists from a tree branch.

My father-in-law's cousin was arrested in 1947. His family got his body back in 1983 for burial in the family grave and were informed he had been executed six weeks after being taken. Which explained why all appeals to go and see him were refused.

A liitle history: In 1939 Russia and Germany signed a non-aggression treaty. It wasn't until the German invasion of June 1941 that Russia entered the war. Between 1939 and 1941 Russia kept busy by invading Finland and Poland. The USSR was fighting on one front - the rest of the allies were involved in Europe, the Far East and at the outset North Africa.

Lets see Stalin murdered millions of his own people, no free speech, no property rights no work no freedom of any kind, go live in Cuba if you like communism so much, they still drive cars from 1957. Russians took Berlin because they didn't want Nazis Communism, they wanted their own brand of Communism.

Edit: try speaking out against the government and see what happens, I don't know what the laws are their but I am sure your not free to do as you please, just like China you can do almost anything except speak your mind I am sure you have state run TV also. Communism has been responsible for hundreds of millions of deaths and is ten times worse than Nazism. The European Union has a Communist constitution (based on the Soviet) and if it is not destroyed it will lead to mass murder on a scale never seen before. De-population is on their agenda and that is a fact..

No other mere human ideal has ever caused so much carnage for the sake of the ideal.
