Whenever I take a drag of my cigarette my bottom front teeth and gums tingle, why?

I take care of my teeth. Brush everyday, floss every once in a while, and use listerene. Why does cigarette smoke all of a sudden make my bottem teeth and gums tingle? It sucks...and it's painful.

Maybe the chemicals/crap in the cigarette are affecting your teeth.
