Why hasn't there been a good animated super hero show since the animated X-men show from the 90's?

Really that was the last cool animated super hero show.

yes, the super heroes are lacking.

BUT, if you liked the x-men show from the 90's you might like these:

    *X-Men: Evolution

In 2000, The WB Network launched the television show X-Men: Evolution, which portrayed the X-Men as teenagers attending a regular public high school in addition to the Xavier Institute. The series ended in 2003 after its fourth season.

    *Wolverine and the X-Men

In 2008, Marvel Studios put out a new X-Men animated show that features Wolverine, though as of the middle of Season 1, he is just the main protagonist, driving the plot. This time the series uses a mesh of 2D/3D animation for characters and backgrounds. Avi Arad, CEO of Marvel Studios, stated "X-Men is one of Marvel's crown jewels and it makes sense to focus on the popular Wolverine character for our second animation project."

Sadly, on April 15, 2010, Marvel Animation Age confirmed the recent report that Wolverine and the X-Men will not be returning for a second season, the reason for the cancellation is because they were unable to work out the financing for the show with their financing partner.

Anime is HERE NOW! Cheaper to buy old episodes of Naruto than to invest more than chump change in something new over here.

HELL even the AVATAR: Last Air Bender is an example of Anime pushing out American Style Heroes.

As for animes that basically have English subtitles: Gakuen Alice Tokyo Mew Mew Shugo Chara ^ completely nicely worth examining subtitles. wish I helped :)

I'm glad someone else out there realized this. I don't know why though. I thought "The Batman" came pretty close but it wasn't close to Batman the animated series. All I know is that kids today don't know what they missed.
