Look at the cats for adopting and look at the shelters or foster homes then contact some of them and ask.

I had occasion to abuse that site to find someone in my immediate area with a particular type of trap. It was a foster home situation I called and I felt bad calling a stranger out of the blue and not looking to adopt an animal. But she called right back and wanted to help!

Did you try calling some other no kill shelters in other states?..sometimes they have other listings.

As for the response about no kill shelters only taking adoptable cats...i have a no kill shelter in new jersey near me...that is EXACTLY what they are. Unless and animal is sick and not treatable they do not euthanize. They adopt out "unadoptable animals" to people who can fill this animals needs.

There is no such thing as an unadoptable animal....ALL animals have the potential for a loving home as long as it can meet the needs of the animal.
