How does this answer violate the guidelines?
Someone asked where to watch Rugby games on TV in the US and I answered:
"The website rugbyrugby.com has listing by city in the US, the link is below: http://www.rugbyrugby.com/RUGBY_ON_TV/story_391.sh... It lists both networks like some of those already mentioned as well as clubs/pubs/bars etc. that regularly show rugby. Obviously I can't verify the information for all the cities but I can say that on a similar page for Toronto the listing are very accurate and up to date."
Yahoo removed the answer and deleted my 10 points. The answer BTW was given about 4 years ago & the link is no longer valid. Would that be why?
Thanks Rev, not sure how a link to public web page would be sharing copyrighted material but interesting thought.

Most likely you received a Violation Notice for violation of the Terms of Service (TOS). Reason being that it appears you are sharing copyrighted material.
Part of the TOS states: "You agree to not use the Yahoo! Services to: .....upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights") of any party".
(edit) I once received a similar VN for posting a link to a public book-sharing site. I then asked a question similar to yours which is how I learned how sensitive Yahoo is to anything that might even just appear to be a copyright violation. Just because something is public does not mean that it is 100% legal.

I appealed an reply that received flagged, and received. What I did used to be instructed them why I proposal it used to be incorrect to be flagged. I do not feel both reply might be in violation, they appear useful ample. The handiest factor I might do is appear it up.
