what's a good movie editing software that's reasonable and also allow movies in HD?
I have a camera that records movie in HD. I have no editing software that will acknowledge it. I have the Windows Movie Maker (windows XP) it don't accept movies that's AVI I'd like to find a software that do, and hope it's not too expensive.
Any ideas?

If you can spend some money get either Vegas Movie Studio HD 9 (cheaper than newer version) or Adobe Premiere Elements 9

If you don't have much experience in editing videos, I suggest you using Ulead VideoStudio

It's a great video editting tool. HD is no problem.
