I wanna start making youtube video's on makeup?

I think that some really important ones(or at least ones that I watch) are ones on how to keep your skin clean and fresh, daily rutine makeup for school and such, and maybe a couple of "themed" makeups- like an actress or someone from a movie. My favorite makeup/hair/clothes person on youtube is Alexandraaxoxo, you should definitely check out her channel!

To get more subscribers, make sure to become friends or email some of the popular makeup/hair people on youtube, because a lot of times they will request sights to their listeners to go too. Make sure to be really lively and upbeat in your videos so people won't zone out all the time. Best of luck!

All these girls that really know NOTHING about makeup, are trying to be guru's on youtube.

They copy well known guru's like michelle phan, queenbeeuty, hollyannerae, etccc

But that's the thing, it's all copied. Nothing.. absolutely nothing in the makeup community is original.

You'll get a couple girls though that'll watch you and like your video's but unless you yourself know more than most, about makeup and hair.. i wouldn't try it.

I tried to do the whole guru thing and I realized I didn't exactly know what to do or talk about. I ran out of ideas and stopped.

If you can't think of idea's now, don't try to get them off of us. You should be original and come up with them yourself.

Maybe in the next year or so, after you really do your research on hair and cosmetics, I would go for it. but until then. no.

Kylie Minogue has excellent makeup always. Definitely do a tutorial on her. Other looks a lot of girls like are the makeup of Adele, Katy Perry, etc. Also maybe do some unexpected celebrities. Ellen Degeneres's makeup is WONDERFUL! It brings out her eyes and is so pretty, but i doubt anyone ever did a tutorial on her makeup look.

Specific brand tutorial (like rimmel , maybelline ,elf etc.)

When halloween comes around maybe a vampire makeup tutorial (I will defo watch!)

Goth / emo / nerd / preppy makeup tutorial ( I will watch also if you do a goth one!)

when valentines comes around , maybe a pink/red/purple colour tutorial?

everybody is on here you do mostly what make up stuff you have like kind of do different ones your your own hair stlyes and your own looks like outfit of the day you just show people what close you have one that day. you can skin care foundation what is in my bag . theirs a tag called must needed summer stuff so you could do that for back to school like once the summer ends you can make a tag that says fall or winter must haves they all do that *** well. stuff like that try to make it kind of different since everybody on their does the same videos and it gets boring. try review new stuff like make up or hair stuff that works and not let people know that is good *** well.

Okay, well it's a good idea :)

Try doing something which other people haven't done yet - like your favourite celebrity syle makeup. (meaning don't do the same celebs).

DON'T!?!?!??! Don't take it personally but there are already so many make up guru's on Youtube. You should try to do something else

i have 330 subscribers and i gt it by making videos consistently, doing video responses and commenting on peoples videos :-) xx

do everyday makeup, also clean skin totrial, and u can always do celebrities kind of makeup, like Rihanna for exm. ull get more subscribers when ull have more viewers :) good luck!
