We call dead the individual whose material body has died and became lifeless. However, the soul does not die and on the resurrection day there will be a new body to hold that soul. Jesus was raised to God (as per the Qur'an that was revealed after the events of attempting to crucify Jesus). With God will Jesus's soul stay till resurrection day.
