Why isn't "I am Alpha and Omega" a logic statement?
In John 1:1 we have " In the beginning was the LOGOS" (translated "word"). Why can't it also be translated as LOGIC"? Then "I am (Binary) Logic shows us how God thinks!!!!

2 AnswersNotices and Errors9 years agoWhat is your evidence for an "immortal soul" in the holy scriptures?
The only reference to an immortal soul that I see is in Genesis, where Satan tells Eve, paraphrasing, that God is lying to you-----(if you eat this forbidden fruit, you will not die). I submit the immortal soul concept arose there.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIn any area of the Greek Scriptures where the word "worship" is used, is the Greek word for "worship' always?
the same or is it different? In my Greek scriptures,"proskinesis" means 'prostrating at ones feet as a mark of RESPECT', not WORSHP. Respecting Jesus is perfectly appropriate. The word for "worship" is "LATREIA", a word referring to worship of God only. This is from the Vatican Interlinear manuscript, so I hope some Roman Catholics will comment here.
1 AnswerWords & Wordplay1 decade agoTrevor, If Jesus didn't die, how could he be resurrected. How would one be raised again (resurrected) if he (?
if he never fell? If Jesus didn't die then mankind is doomed as there would have been no ransom sacrifice to appease God over the original sins of Adam and Eve
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf 'Jesus is God' and God is immortal, how did Jesus die on a torture stake (staurus)?
The 'Jesus is God' statement evidently is intended to support the trinity concept, in which Father=Son=Holy Spirit, but this is refuted in many ways, one of which is that God was/ is ALWAYS immortal and Jesus wasn't..
.Additional confusion arrises because St. Jerome translated 'proskinesis' as 'worshiip' and 'latreia' as 'worship' creating the confusion that Jesus is not to be shown deep respect (proskinesis). This is precisely the deep respect Jesus IS to be shown. What he asked NOT to receive was' latreia' usually translated as 'worship' or 'adoration', ut reserved solely for God.
