In any area of the Greek Scriptures where the word "worship" is used, is the Greek word for "worship' always?

the same or is it different? In my Greek scriptures,"proskinesis" means 'prostrating at ones feet as a mark of RESPECT', not WORSHP. Respecting Jesus is perfectly appropriate. The word for "worship" is "LATREIA", a word referring to worship of God only. This is from the Vatican Interlinear manuscript, so I hope some Roman Catholics will comment here.
