Would you ever eat something a stranger offered you?
I bought a really delicious pastrami sandwich on a sourdough roll and it was too big for me to finish. I wrapped it up and took it with me and offered it to several people. I explained that I knew I would never be able to finish it and hated to throw it away.

You ate something a few strangers touched: those mimimum wagers at the sandwich joint who have minimum knowledge, if any, about food safety.
Never let strangers touch your meals.
Never eat in restaurants, etc.
