iPhone 4 Water damage help?

I recently dropped my iPhone 4 in my pool. (I know, it was pretty careless) Anyway, I quickly took it out, and powered it off. When I turned it back on, there didn't seem to be much damage. At first, there were some minor problems with the speakers, but now everything except for the lock button on the top right of the phone works perfectly fine. Now when I try to press the lock button, it doesn't work, and it when I'm on my phone, it will constantly bring up the "slide to power off" screen. Also, the phone will randomly lock like I have pressed the lock button when I haven't. It happens constantly and is really annoying. So my question is, is there any way I can fix this by myself, or would I have to take it into the apple store to get it fixed? Thanks in advance!

My best friend had almost the exact same problem! Her speakers didn't work and the lock button would do that same thing. She didn't do anything about it for a while but eventually just got a new one. I don't think there is much you can do after a certain amount of time. There are two screws at the bottom of the phone, you can unscrew those and check but i think you need a certain screwdriver.. Hope this helps!

Your coverage agency will ask for the previous telephone back. From there it quite is refurbished. which potential something broken is replaced and shipped back out as yet another exchange telephone. documents is wiped and the OS is reflashed onto the telephone and each little thing examined previous to this.
