my sea monkeys didn't work?

Question

okay this is my second time that i have done this. I brought some sea monkeys the other week from amazon and i first put the bottled water and put the water puifer thing in and leave it for a day and i did that and then put the eggs in i did that too but nothing happened. I mixed it like it said and then black dots at the top of the water was there. I left it for like 3 days to see if anything happened and notta. Ijust thought it was a dud or something. I ordered some more and i repeated the same process and the same thing happened, black dots at the top of the water. am i doing something wrong? Do i not stir? :/

make sure you use spring water and not distilled water ... and the temperature of the room will effect how fast they hatch ... and you also have to realize when they hatch they are so super deluxe tiny that you really have to look for them ...

don't put them in sunlight, i just did so to take the videos ... but the warmer the room the faster they will hatch ... be sure to aerate the water twice a day ... and in reality, the water purifier packet has eggs too so when you add packet 2 there is no instant life, it is the sea monkey eggs that were in packet one that have hatched ... on the sea monkey site it does say they can take up to a week to hatch ... when i hatched some in the winter it took them about 3-4 days to hatch ... the black dots are the eggs ...

Not sure about the stirring but i remember reading that they can take up to a week to hatch, try leaving them longer maybe.

Maybe try using distilled water and maybe the room does not have enough light and/or is not warm enough

You stir. They are very very very tiny when they 1st hatch. Very tiny.
