Will your phone say it has water damage if taken into the shower?

I take my phone into the shower when I shower. I put It one the floor though and usually wrap it up in clothes. I have to send my iPhone in. Will it say it has water damage?

It can, yes. Steam can make the dot turn red. Look in to the ear phone jack and see if the sticker is red. I agree with above post though. Just leave it out in your room or whatever. No need to take it in the shower.

    Who knows.

All these cells have is little squares of paper glued into them, at various points. The little squares are chemically treated so that they turn pink or red if they get wet.

They will open up your phone and look at the little squares. If the little squares are pink or red, they will laugh at you and stamp "LIQUID DAMAGE" all over your case notes.

This is all there is to it. Maybe you've gotten your little red squares red some other way that you'd never suspect. Maybe there's enough steam in the air to get through your protective layer of dirty socks and get your squares red. Who knows.

With Iphones I don't think you have the option to open the phone up your self and look at the little squares beforehand. You'll just to send it in and cross your legs and hope.
